Services Acupuncture can give valuable pain relief to geriatric dogs or dogs with complicated conditions while cutting back on their medication doses. Give your dog a better quality of life. Acupuncture is effective and non-invasive for treating arthritis, IVDD, neurologic conditions, neck and back pain and paralysis. Medication Refills Dr. Janie can do an exam and authorize medication refills for current patients that have recheck exams scheduled. Service Fees: Acupuncture/Pain Exam: $140-$200, depending on travel zone Additional Pet in House Acupuncture $120 Cancellation Fee $90 with< 4 days notice No refunds for cancellations 48 hrs prior to scheduled appointment. No refunds for no shows Appointments can last 20 minutes - 90 minutes. I recommend 3-5 treatments per condition. Ideally we should treat 1-2x a week to get the most benefit from acupuncture. What to Expect During an Acupuncture Appointment
We will need a clean place to sit on the floor with enough room for your dog and two people. Your dog can sit on a dog bed or blanket. We will talk for 20-30 minutes and treatment will last 20-30 minutes. Most dogs love eating some frozen sweet potato treats during their acupuncture treatment. If it is close to a meal time please wait until after treatment to feed your dog. You will be welcome to sit by your dog's head for the whole procedure. Appointment Precautions Due to Covid-19
1. Dr. Janie will wear a mask if requested but masks are not required. 2. Owners may hold pets during appointments. This does make physical distancing difficult. 3.
